1879 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS65 Golden-Brown & Cobalt Blue Toner

1879-P Morgan Silver Dollar graded at MS65 by PCGS. Attractive gem graded coin produced at the Philadelphia mint.

This coin has pleasing luster with very sharp and clean frosted details on both sides because of the solid strike. The obverse has stunning crescent shaped rainbow toning with a broad mix of vibrant colors including honey-gold, mahogany, magenta, and a strong layer of cobalt blue. The reverse has the same mix but only a thin perimenter making for that pleasing framed look. No significant distractions on this specimen and completely worthy of the gem grade assigned this specimen considering the smooth surfaces, sharp details, and glistening luster. This semi key date coin would add nicely to any collectors mix of coins!
